June 25, 2018; by Paul Fassa (Silver Bulletin) There’s no telling how many are convinced that our medical institutions and authorities have given us superior health and longevity, but actually medical and dietary authorities have created a sicker society. But however many believe the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is concerned about public health related to food and drugs is too many. Most have seen disclaimers like this attached to supplements or healthy food promotions:
- The statements regarding “THIS PRODUCT” have not been evaluated by the FDA.
- The efficacy of these products has not been confirmed by FDA-approved research.
- These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease
- Etc, etc, etc.
I have to point out that these statements are and others like this are meant to program your psyche into believing the FDA is concerned about your safety. Big Pharma supports mainstream media with large advertising costs and the media does not bite the hand that feeds it.
This creates a matrix where too many sleepwalk into the believing the hype enough to excuse the FDA medical mafia’s over-zealous control as simply erring on the side of caution because they’re protecting us.
Some believers become robotic with statements like “If it’s not FDA approved I won’t use it”. Or, “There’s nothing wrong with aspartame, it’s FDA approved”. More on that in a later article. Here’s what a Dr. Herbert Lay had to say upon resigning in disgust after 18 months as the FDA commissioner:
The FDA ‘protects’ the big drug companies and are subsequently rewarded, and using the government’s police powers they attack those who threaten the big drug companies. People think that the FDA is protecting them. It isn’t. What the FDA is doing and what the public thinks it is doing are as different as night and day.
The Collusion of Medical Tyranny Involves Media and Government
Mainstream media is in on the scam as well. The United States and New Zealand are the only modern industrial nations that allow pharmaceutical prescription drug direct advertising to consumers on TV, radio, and print media.
Beyond casting its spell of belief in their authority that captures many is the police power of the FDA.
Any supplement maker, food provider, or medical practice that’s not officially approved for any healthful purpose and claims to promote health or treat and (gasp) cure any medical ailments is first warned then shut down.
There’s a long trail of dead bodies and walking wounded among sincere medical practitioners and supplement suppliers who do have better stuff than what Big Pharma offers.
During the Swine Flu declared pandemic of 2009, which never was truly a pandemic, expensive Tamiflu was heavily promoted directly and indirectly. Tamiflu was the antiviral of the day despite its expense, lack of safety, and cargo of nasty side effects.
Dr. Andrew Weil had become a prominently publicized holistic doctor promoting dietary solutions and herbal remedies. Tamiflu’s rise in popularity in 2009 had been accompanied by a rash of reported serious side effects leading to Japan’s temporary ban of the product.
Dr. Weil jumped in with advice to his large audience of readers and recommended elderberry syrups such as Sambucol to help get over an episode of the swine or any type of flu.
Dr. Weil relies considerably on testing results, and Scandinavian and Israeli test comparisons of Sambucol elderberry syrup compared to Tamiflu showed the inexpensive high-quality elderberry syrup was considerably superior to Tamiflu for getting over the flu with zero side effects.
Because of his public exposure, the FDA officially warned Dr. Weil against recommending elderberry syrup to recover from flu episodes of all kinds. The warning was by letter. Its hidden language was “keep doing what you’re doing and you aren’t going to be an MD anymore”.
The strength of Weil’s natural healing and health advice to a wide public is that medical license. After all, he’s a “real doctor” not a quack. He should be allowed to give advice on natural remedies.
But Dr. Weil caved to avoid the chance of losing his medical license and the notoriety of bad publicity the media would cynically create against him. Since then he’s been more reserved in my opinion.
The FDA’s police power can influence medical boards to suspend or terminate medical licenses for MDs who go out of bounds developing or using treatments and natural remedies for curing diseases, especially cancer, without resorting to synthetic pharmaceutical drugs.
The FDA Helps Keep the Public in the Dark About Natural, Effective, and Safe Remedies
Colloidal Silver offers even more protection against the flu than elderberry syrup. Since colloidal silver is antibacterial in addition to anti-viral, it also protects against any bacterial infections agitated by viral infections.
I don’t recall any mainstream reports that were pro-colloidal silver during that outbreak called a pandemic to increase Tamiflu sales and flu vaccine recipients. The CDC does have financial vested interests in creating a fear base rush to vaccinations, which will be discussed later in this series.
A more current example of subtle FDA – media pro-pharmaceutical propaganda comes from the sports world. New England Patriot quarterback Tom Brady credits his good health and football longevity to his sports “alternative” health coach Alex Guerrero. Tom will be 42 when the 2018 NFL season begins.
A few of Tom’s teammates are also enjoying Alex’s natural physical health solutions and dietary advice to sustain their bodies in this rough sport, even recovering from injuries more quickly.
Alex’s natural approach hasn’t sat well with orthodox health practitioners who shoot up their players with pain killing pharmaceuticals to keep them in the game.
So Alex was asked to move his office out of the Patriots team building. Despite the obvious success, mainstream media and sports scribes aligned their reporting with the FDA’s allegiance to the pharmaceutical industry, citing the fact that the FDA hassled Alex’s operation in California.
This further perpetuated the myth that the FDA is concerned about our welfare and their police efforts prove whomever they go after is a snake-oil quack.
Historically and presently, this is far from true. More about that in subsequent articles on this theme when I fry some really big nasty smelling fish from the FDA, CDC, AMA waters that attempt to create the public perception of pharmaceuticals good, natural medicine and supplements bad.
Paul Fassa as a natural health journalist started researching natural healing to overcome his unhealthy lifestyle. He is amazed at the ignorance about natural healing and how beneficial foods and herbs are constantly ignored or vilified in order to promote toxic foods and patented drugs by Big Pharma, the FDA, USDA, and the AMA, which he calls the “Medical Mafia”. Paul Fassa sees the struggle for health freedom and the need for improving and preserving our food supply as key issues in today’s ill and diseased world. He has contributed hundreds of article to Natural News, Align Life, Natural Society, and the Silver Bulletin e-News Magazine.
