Omega 3-6-9 supplement contains essential fatty acids for body functioning that is not manufactured by the body itself. Omega 3-6-9 contains about 300 mg of evening primrose oil. It is extracted from a plant like the borage oil, and contains a GLA or gamma linolenic acid which is a fatty acid and it gets converted into a substance like hormones which is called prostaglandin. This substance exhibits anti-inflammatory, blood thinning and vessel dilating properties. The GLA in primrose also have anti cancer activity. Black Currant Oil

Omega 3-6-9 contains 20mg of black current oil. Black current oil is also a very good source of GLA or gamma linolenic acid.
